What We Do

The Extra Mile Academy (TEMA) has two goals: 1) providing financial literacy information and 2) giving career exploration opportunities to high school students through college graduates.  Our financial literacy presentations are given on topics such as budgeting, credit, and investing.  Students are trained to become presenters, or as we like to call them, Ambassadors for TEMA.  There is no better way for students to internalize the information being taught than to teach it to others.  We also offer career exploration opportunities for our Ambassadors.  Mock interviews, job shadows, and internships are set up in the field of their choice.
